***WISH FULFILLED  - THANK YOU!!!***

SC50 - STEAM Lab & Library

STEAM Lab is a place at Bell School where all of our students will have the opportunity to use reading, science, technology, engineering, art and math in real-life situations. Activities in the STEAM Lab are hands-on, and student-driven. So far, students in the STEAM lab have designed things for the 3D printer, learned how to hand sew, constructed cardboard villages, created electric circuits, made bubbles, slime and paper tube animals, and much, much more.

We need: money for consumable supplies for our experiments like cardstock, LED lights, insulated foam tubes, wood, modelling clay.  Money for bigger things, like stop animation software, iPads, woodworking tools, an additional 3D printer, more challenges to add to our FUSE curriculum.

The STEAM Lab possibilities are endless. Please consider contributing!

In addition, funds to this wish list item will benefit the Bell Library! Library collection development is the ongoing process of identifying strengths and weaknesses of Bell's library collection in terms of student needs. The Bell Library provides a broad range of educational and recreational reading resources in order to support the school curriculum. In addition, the Bell Library helps students to utilize ideas and information, become competent and enthusiastic readers, and become independent in their learning. Library books are available in a variety of formats and reading levels. The library faculty strives to offer a well-balanced variety of subjects which support the diverse interests, needs, and viewpoints of the Bell School community.
